Adriana Lima began her career as a model when she won the Ford Supermodel of the Brazil contest in 1996 and went on to finish second in the Ford Supermodel of the World contest. After this, she has appeared on the covers of the major fashion magazines, in ads and TV commercials for numerous big brands and on runways around the world. In the general public she is probably best known as one of the Victoria’s Secrets models in catalogues, ads and in the popular TV transmitted lingerie shows. If the internet popularity can be taken as a guideline, Adriana’s popularity is almost up there with names like Laetitia Casta, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bündchen?. The world of high fashion may have it’s own, different, hierarchy, but who cares about that? Adriana’s popularity is no doubt due to the sensuality that runs through everything she does. In most of her pictures you’ll see that naughty spark in her beautiful eyes, and on the catwalk her turns are simply sexier than the rest. In her spare time, Adriana dedicates her services to help orphans in her native Brazil.
